The charity speed-running event takes place in Minneapolis from May 28th to June 4th. This year, the organizers added a slew of Zelda runs in honor of the upcoming <a data-i13n=\"cpos:1;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/watch-10-minutes-of-legend-of-zelda-tears-of-the-kingdom-gameplay-145613610.html\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;cpos:1;pos:1;itc:0\"><em>Tears of the Kingdom<\/em><\/a>, which gamers will spend countless hours exploring beginning next month. Of course, the event will <a data-i13n=\"cpos:2;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.twitch.tv\/gamesdonequick\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;cpos:2;pos:1;itc:0\">stream live on Twitch<\/a> for those who can\u2019t make it to Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p>The full schedule starts with a pre-show followed by a <em>Sonic Frontiers<\/em> run on May 28th and wraps up with a <em>Super Metroid<\/em> run and an unknown finale on June 3rd. The last day also includes <a data-i13n=\"cpos:3;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/elden-ring-12-million-copies-18-days-105555964.html\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;cpos:3;pos:1;itc:0\"><em>Elden Ring<\/em><\/a> and a blindfolded run of <a data-i13n=\"cpos:4;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2017-04-04-zelda-breath-of-the-wild-open-world-games.html\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;cpos:4;pos:1;itc:0\"><em>The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild<\/em><\/a>. Sightless speed runs have been a popular GDQ mainstay, with previous years including memorable blindfolded play-throughs of <em>Mike Tyson\u2019s Punch-Out!!<\/em> and <em>Super Mario 64<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Other Zelda games in the SGDQ 2023 lineup include <em>The Minish Cap<\/em> (Switch) on May 28th, <em>A Link Between Worlds<\/em> (3DS) on May 29th, <em>Majora\u2019s Mask<\/em> (Nintendo 64) on May 31st, <em>Twilight Princes<\/em>s (GameCube) on June 1st and <em>Four Swords<\/em> (Game Boy Advance) on June 2nd.
