{"id":628496,"date":"2023-04-12T18:57:24","date_gmt":"2023-04-12T23:57:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.sellorbuyhomefast.com\/index.php\/2023\/04\/12\/torsion-group-wins-114m-of-new-projects\/"},"modified":"2023-04-12T18:57:24","modified_gmt":"2023-04-12T23:57:24","slug":"torsion-group-wins-114m-of-new-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsycanuse.com\/index.php\/2023\/04\/12\/torsion-group-wins-114m-of-new-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Torsion Group wins \u00a3114m of new projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"wrapper_sleeve\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"620\" height=\"412\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ca.emap.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2023\/04\/torsion2-1024x681.jpg\"   alt=\"torsion2-1024x681.jpg\">        <\/p>\n<p>Left: Lancaster Wharf project in Birmingham<br \/>\nRight: Torsion chief executive Dan Spencer<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Torsion Group has secured four major projects totalling \u00a3114m in the residential and student housing market.<\/p>\n<p>The Leeds-based construction company&#8217;s first ever residential build will be in Manchester and is worth \u00a325.9m.<\/p>\n<p>Other new schemes include a \u00a346m residential development in Birmingham for Select Property; a \u00a310.2m student accommodation scheme in York; and a \u00a332m student accommodation scheme with Bricks Group.<\/p>\n<p>The project wins mean Torsion Group is on track to reach \u00a3122m turnover in 2023, almost double the \u00a363.4m it turned over in the year to June 2022.<\/p>\n<p>As well as the four contract wins, Torsion Group say it is planning to work on another four builds in Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield, and Coventry to deliver a total of 881 beds by 2025.
