\u201cThe relationship had just run its course,\u201d according to a report from Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n \n\tTaylor Swift<\/a> and<\/span> Joe Alwyn<\/a> have reportedly ended their relationship after six years together, Entertainment Tonight<\/a><\/em> first revealed. Sources also confirmed the split to People<\/em><\/a> and Page Six<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tThe breakup apparently occurred a few weeks ago, was amicable, and \u201cit was not dramatic,\u201d according to ET<\/em>. \u201cThe relationship had just run its course. It\u2019s why [Alwyn] hasn\u2019t been spotted at any shows,\u201d ET <\/em>was told. Swift is in the midst of her The Eras tour<\/a>, which runs through the beginning of August, culminating in back-to-back shows at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles on Aug. 8-9.<\/p>\n \n\t(In what was perhaps foreshadowing to the news leak, Swift added the reflective song about a relationship that didn\u2019t become \u201cThe 1\u201d<\/a> to The Eras Tour last weekend, marking the first time she\u2019d altered the rigid part of the setlist.)<\/p>\n \n\tThe news traveled fast and Swifties took to social media to discuss all the songs that have appeared to be inspired by the relationship, causing tracks such as \u201cLondon Boy,\u201d \u201cLavender Haze,\u201d \u201cCornelia Street,\u201d \u201cInvisible String\u201d and ones Swift and Alwyn cowrote (\u201cSweet Nothing\u201d) among others to worldwide trend on Twitter. <\/p>\n \n\tNaturally \u201cTaylor\u201d trended as well, and others also made jokes about Pete Davidson making a move now that Swift is reportedly single, causing his name to trend as well.<\/p>\n \n\tThe pair were not only a couple but also musical collaborators: Alwyn cowrote (under the name William Bowery) \u201cExile\u201d and \u201cBetty\u201d from\u00a0Folklore<\/em>, and \u201cChampagne Problems,\u201d \u201cConey Island,\u201d and \u201cEvermore\u201d on\u00a0Evermore<\/em>.
