Xiaomi is slated to launch the Ultra variant of its current top-end Android smartphone line and the vanilla version of its flagship tablet soon. Both devices have allegedly shown up in a new leak suggesting that the 13 Ultra charges at a slower top rate than that of its less premium Pro counterpart. The Pad 6, on the other hand, might have gotten an upgrade.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra<\/a> and Pad 6<\/a> may be pegged as a smartphone<\/a> and a tablet<\/a> respectively, but they have at least 1 thing in common: a good chance of global availability, possibly from May 2023<\/a>. Before that, however, they are slated to debut in China. Now, a new leak might be the best indication that this event is indeed on the way soon.\n<\/p>\n

It comes in the form of a new registration secured from 3C by Xiaomi<\/a> for 2 new devices with the model numbers 23046RP50C and 2304FPN6DC<\/a>, thought to be the Pad 6<\/a> and 13 Ultra<\/a> respectively. Should that be the case, the certifications reveal they are compatible with 2 different power bricks.\n<\/p>\n

Accordingly, the 13 Ultra is linked to the MDY-14-EC<\/a>, a new accessory that charges at up to 90 watts<\/a> (W), whereas the tablet may be able to use the MDY-12-EF<\/a>, a 67W brick also associated with the 12S Ultra<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Therefore, the new leak hints that, while the 13 Ultra<\/a> might have gotten an update compared to its predecessor<\/a>, it may fall short of the theoretically subordinate 13 Pro<\/a>. The Pad 6<\/a>, on the other hand, has allegedly made progress compared to its forebear<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n
