Previously, umps only had access to audio of review conversations, and now they\u2019ll have video, too, even though the remote umpires\u2019 decision <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/glossary\/rules\/replay-review\">will be the one that\u2019s final<\/a>. Once an umpire or team manager calls for a review, the results depend on the person watching the replay.<\/p>\n<p>Naturally, it won\u2019t just be umps that will see more Zoom branding during MLB games. People watching broadcasts on MLB Network and Apple TV Plus will also see the Zoom Replay Operations Center during a review alongside an analyst talking about what might happen.<\/p>\n<p>With the company facing increased competition from Google and Microsoft as remote and hybrid work cools from its pandemic peak, replay branding is one way Zoom can get its name in people\u2019s minds again (similar to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2020\/7\/24\/21337326\/nba-microsoft-teams-together-mode-basketball-virtual-experience-fans\">the Microsoft Teams Together Mode push<\/a> during the NBA\u2019s bubble season and playoffs).
