These include demolition, new build, refurbishment, decoration, as well as landscaping and external works.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The framework is split into four lots ranging in value from \u00a31 to \u00a320m.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Lot one: works from \u00a31 up to \u00a3499,999<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Lot two: works between \u00a3500,000 and \u00a31,499,999<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Lot three: works between \u00a31.5m and \u00a34.999,999<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Lot four: works up to \u00a320m.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>The new framework comes just over a year after Manchester university sought<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.constructionnews.co.uk\/buildings\/developers-of-1-5bn-manchester-innovation-hub-reach-key-milestone-28-02-2022\/\"> <span>suppliers for a \u00a31.5bn innovation hub<\/span><\/a><span>, as part of a joint venture with insurance giant Legal &#038; General and developer Bruntwood.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Known as Bruntwood SciTech, the scheme will see 240,000 square metres of new commercial space developed south of the city centre near Piccadilly station.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Manchester is not the only higher education institution looking to upgrade its estate. In November, the University of Cambridge<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.constructionnews.co.uk\/contractors\/laing-orourke\/suppliers-sought-for-80m-cambridge-uni-framework-23-11-2022\/\"> <span>announced plans to appoint suppliers to an \u00a380m<\/span><\/a><span> construction framework.
