The title was initially planned for a 2022 release but was <span section=\"shortcodeLink\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnet.com\/tech\/gaming\/suicide-squad-video-game-reportedly-delayed-until-2023\/\">pushed back to May 2023<\/a><\/span>. It&#8217;s still expected to come out this year, though exact timing isn&#8217;t clear.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The delay will reportedly allow Rocksteady to fix bugs and improve other aspects of the game that weren&#8217;t ready for a May release. Publisher Warner Bros. Games didn&#8217;t immediately respond to a request for comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Suicide Squad is a four-player co-op game planned for\u00a0<span section=\"shortcodeLink\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnet.com\/tech\/computing\/best-gaming-pc\/\">PC<\/a><\/span>, <span section=\"shortcodeLink\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnet.com\/tech\/gaming\/sony-ps5-review-exclusive-games-power-playstation-5-sky-high-space-age-console\/\">PlayStation 5<\/a><\/span> and <span section=\"shortcodeLink\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnet.com\/tech\/gaming\/microsoft-xbox-series-x-review-in-progress-game-pass-secret-weapon\/\">Xbox Series X|S<\/a><\/span>, with players stepping into the role of anti-heroes Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, King Shark and Harley Quinn.
