\n\tMany were underwhelmed by Chris Rock<\/a>\u2019s live Netflix special<\/a>, Selective Outrage<\/em>. The veteran comedian started his hour-long performance by saying, \u201cI\u2019m gonna try to do a show without offending nobody.\u201d Like most comedy specials, though, he did. <\/p>\n

\n\tOn Saturday night (March 4), the 58-year-old compared Michael Jackson<\/a> to R. Kelly<\/a>, called the Kardashians an \u201call-inclusive\u201d family<\/a> who \u201clove Black people more than Black people love Black people,\u201d talked about his dating life and children, shared how he\u2019d react if his father ever became a trans woman, and somehow turned a bit about Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s beauty and an alternate version of her relationship<\/a> with Jay-Z<\/a> into a rant finally addressing the 2022 Oscars slap<\/a> at the hands of Will Smith<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter teasing how Bey wouldn\u2019t date Hov if he worked at Burger King, Rock segued, \u201cI don\u2019t need another rapper mad at me. I do not need the smoke. Y\u2019all know what happened to me. Getting smacked by Shug Smith. Everybody knows. Everybody f**king knows.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tRock admitted he doesn\u2019t consider himself a victim, stating, \u201cYou\u2019ll never see me [with] Oprah or Gayle [King] crying<\/a>,\u201d he said. \u201cYou\u2019ll never see it; never gonna happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe expressed that the year-old slap \u201cstill hurts\u201d and joked that Smith\u2019s 1991 classic, \u201cSummertime<\/a>\u201d is still ringing in his ears. Despite later boasting about his longtime love of the Bad Boys <\/em>star<\/a>, the Brooklyn native named Jada Pinkett Smith<\/a> as the fuel behind their beef. He also used her entanglement<\/a> with August Alsina<\/a> to insinuate that Smith\u2019s wrath targeted the wrong man, saying the Emancipation <\/em>actor<\/a> himself \u201cpractices selective outrage.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEverybody that really <\/em>knows knows I had nothing to do with that sh*t. I didn\u2019t have any entanglements,\u201d said Rock. \u201cEverybody knows his wife was f**king her son\u2019s friend. I normally would not talk about this sh*t, but for some reason these ni**as put that sh*t on the internet<\/a>.\u201d He continued, referring to the infamous Red Table Talk<\/a> <\/em>episode where the couple spoke about Pinkett Smith\u2019s relationship with Alsina.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile sort of getting to the root of how we all wound up here<\/a>, the comedian revealed how Jada mentioned he shouldn\u2019t host the Oscars after Smith was snubbed for Concussion <\/em>in 2015. The following year, the actress called for a complete boycott of the Academy Award. \u201cThat\u2019s how it is. She starts it; I finish it. That\u2019s what the f**k happens. Nobody\u2019s picking on this bi**h. She started this sh*t,\u201d he explained. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe infamous Oscars slap stemmed from<\/a> Rock making a joke out of Jada\u2019s alopecia and as fans pointed out<\/a>, it does seem intentional that this live special took place in the Set It Off<\/a><\/em> star\u2019s hometown of Baltimore. It\u2019s also been reported that these three have been at odds since the late \u201990s.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile concluding his set, the Saturday Night Live<\/a> <\/em>alum finally revealed why he didn\u2019t initially react to the slap<\/a> and attacked Smith\u2019s upbringing instead. \u201cI got parents. I was raised. And you know what my parents taught me? Don\u2019t fight in front of white people,\u201d Rock declared before throwing the mic down and bowing to the live audience.<\/p>\n

\n\tRock previously refused to discuss the altercation\u00a0until he was paid\u00a0<\/a>to do so and did just that.<\/p>\n
