Let\u2019s get rid of all this \u2018we\u2019 crap,&#8221; he told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/music\/artists\/roger-waters-pink-floyd-dark-side-moon-gilmour-putin-ukraine\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/music\/artists\/roger-waters-pink-floyd-dark-side-moon-gilmour-putin-ukraine\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The Telegraph<\/em><\/a><span> (opens in new tab)<\/span><em> <\/em>in an interview last month. &#8220;Of course we were a band \u2013 there were four of us, we all contributed \u2013 but it\u2019s my project and I wrote it, so&#8230; blah.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, Waters released a clip teasing his re-working of <em>Us and Them<\/em>, the first snippet of music from the new version of the album that&#8217;s been made public to date. You can hear it below.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div data-nosnippet>\n<p><iframe data-lazy-priority=\"high\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TPDNQYhNyGQ\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>It&#8217;s worth noting that the &#8220;Let\u2019s get rid of all this \u2018we\u2019 crap&#8221; quote wasn&#8217;t even the most fiery from the Waters <em>Telegraph <\/em>interview, a crown that probably goes to: \u201cWell, Nick never pretended. But Gilmour and Rick? They can\u2019t write songs, they\u2019ve nothing to say,&#8221; Waters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/music\/artists\/roger-waters-pink-floyd-dark-side-moon-gilmour-putin-ukraine\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/music\/artists\/roger-waters-pink-floyd-dark-side-moon-gilmour-putin-ukraine\/\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a><span> (opens in new tab)<\/span>. &#8220;They are not artists! They have no ideas, not a single one between them.
