Nick Cannon<\/strong><\/a> enjoyed watching daughter Monroe go viral on TikTok with ex Mariah Carey<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 and loves that the mother-daughter duo have such a close bond.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI loved it. To be honest, it was epic,\u201d Cannon, 42, told Entertainment Tonight<\/em> <\/a>on Thursday, February 23. \u201cMy daughter has the entertainment bug \u2026 [You can] definitely see that connection with her and her mom. It\u2019s beautiful, the fact that they get to have fun with each other \u2026 Families are connecting in a different way than ever before.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The social media clip, which was posted on Monday, February 20, featured the 11-year-old teaming up with Kim Kardashian\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> daughter North, 9, for a performance of Carey\u2019s hit song<\/a> \u201cIt\u2019s a Wrap.\u201d The two lip-synched to the track\u2019s first verse before Kardashian, 42, and the \u201cFantasy\u201d singer, 53, jumped out from the sidelines while holding hairbrushes\u00a0to join in for the chorus.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a wrap! But never for us,\u201d the Skims founder captioned the post, which she later shared via her Instagram Story.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Drumline<\/em> star told ET<\/em> on Thursday that watching his little one and her mom duet<\/a> the jam was especially \u201cfunny\u201d and \u201ccrazy\u201d because he collaborated with Carey on \u201cIt\u2019s a Wrap\u201d when they were married.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThat song that they were doing TikTok to is a song that I produced and worked on with Mariah, so even that made it special,\u201d he shared. \u201cIt was a touching moment. It was shocking at first, but then it was awesome. I\u00a0was like, \u2018Alright, I see what y\u2019all are\u00a0doing, going viral.’\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The \u201cHoney\u201d artist and the Masked Singer<\/em> host tied the knot in 2008 and welcomed wins Monroe and Moroccan in 2011 before splitting in 2014. Their divorce was finalized two years later.<\/span><\/p>\n According to Cannon, the twosome putting on a show together is nothing new. \u201cHer and Mariah they doing what they do. I don\u2019t even know if I\u2019m allowed to talk about it, \u2019cause Mariah\u2019s like, \u2018Let me handle this.
