\n\tThe U.K.\u2019s MetFilm Sales<\/a> has closed a raft of deals on Becky Hunter\u2019s debut feature documentary \u201cFashioned Reimagined\u201d at Berlin\u2019s ongoing European Film Market (EFM). <\/p>\n \n\tThe film has sold to Sky (U.K, Germany, Italy) NonStop Entertainment (Scandinavia, Baltics), Avrotros (Netherlands), Flag Co. (Japan), LevelFilm (Canada), Spain (Movistar) and Israel (DBS).<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cFashion Reimagined<\/a>\u201d follows fashion designer Amy Powney<\/a> of cult label Mother of Pearl, who embarks on a three-year journey to create a sustainable clothing collection from field to finished garment, and transform her entire business. Raised off-the-grid in rural England by activist parents, Powney has always felt uneasy about the devastating environmental impact of her industry. When she wins the Vogue award for the Best Young Designer of the Year, Powney decides to use the prize money to create a sustainable collection and transform her entire business. <\/p>\n \n\tThe documentary premiered at Tribeca and has had an extensive festival run including Sheffield DocFest, Sydney and Edinburgh. <\/p>\n \n\tMet\u2019s distribution arm MetFilm Distribution will release the film theatrically in some 50 cinemas across the U.K. and Ireland on March 3 ahead of its Sky premiere on April 9. <\/p>\n \n\tMetFilm Sales recently acquired worldwide sales rights<\/a>, excluding the U.S., Germany and France, to Thomas von Steinaecker\u2019s feature documentary \u201cWerner Herzog<\/a>: Radical Dreamer.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tMetFilm Sales\u2019 current slate includes \u201cGloriavale,\u201d directed by Fergus Grady and Noel Smyth, \u201cBitterbrush,\u201d directed by Emelie Mahdavian, \u201cEric Ravilious: Drawn to War,\u201d directed by Margy Kinmouth, \u201cFashion Reimagined,\u201d directed by Becky Hutner, \u201cBody Parts,\u201d directed by Kristy Guevara-Flanagan and \u201cA Bunch of Amateurs\u201d directed by Kim Hopkins.<\/p>\n
