Based in\u00a0Seoul, South Korean tattoo artist Nonlee is\u00a0making a\u00a0stir on\u00a0the Internet with her colorful micro realism tattoos. Her work is\u00a0mainly based on\u00a0fine art, and she is\u00a0no\u00a0stranger to\u00a0it.<\/p>\n

The woman has always been passionate about painting. She graduated from college as\u00a0an\u00a0art major and worked as\u00a0a\u00a0painting teacher for 10\u00a0years.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0an\u00a0interview, she said<\/a>, \u201cI\u00a0love painting. And I\u00a0love to\u00a0create from scratch. But at\u00a0the same time, I\u00a0am longing for a\u00a0change in\u00a0my\u00a0life.\u201d The opportunity knocked at\u00a0her door when she went to\u00a0get a\u00a0tattoo herself, and instantly, she fell in\u00a0love with the tattoo artist\u2019s work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In\u00a0her interview, she said<\/a>, \u201cIt\u2019s a\u00a0form of\u00a0art, just like what I\u2019ve been doing for a\u00a0long time. And sometimes it\u2019s hard to\u00a0concentrate for a\u00a0long time, especially on\u00a0big pieces.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
