\n\tGirls Trip <\/em>and Scary Movie<\/em> star Regina Hall<\/a> is set to star in and produce horror comedy Breitenbush<\/em>, which has been acquired by Yale Entertainment <\/p>\n \n\tThe actress \u2014\u00a0who produced and starred in hot Sundance 2022 feature Honk for Jesus, Save Your Soul<\/em>, which sold for $8.5 million to Focus Features and MonkeyPaw \u2014\u00a0produces alongside her producing partner Tom Heller through their Rh Negative Entertainment banner, together with Jordan Yale Levine and Jordan Beckerman of Yale Entertainment.\u00a0Jim Strouse (The Incredible Jessica James<\/em>, People Places Things<\/em>) is directing from his original screenplay.<\/p>\n \n\tBreitenbush<\/em> will see Hall play aspiring district attorney Kate, who, after her husband vanishes on a camping trip during which everyone ingests a powerful hallucinogen and summons an angry prehistoric creature, must return to the site of the ill-fated trip with her friends to face the forces that led to his disappearance.<\/p>\n \n\tGreat Escape, Yale\u2019s sales division led by Nick Donnermeyer, is introducing the project to buyers at this week\u2019s European Film Market<\/a> in Berlin.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to be announcing our latest Yale Entertainment project,\u201d said Levine and Beckerman. \u201cJim and Regina are at the top of the list of people who we\u2019ve wanted to collaborators with, and this script is so unique and fun \u2014\u00a0we\u2019re so excited to get this into production.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHall is repped by APA and The Lede Company.
