{"id":608780,"date":"2023-02-16T23:48:58","date_gmt":"2023-02-17T05:48:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.sellorbuyhomefast.com\/index.php\/2023\/02\/16\/helical-jv-to-develop-three-tfl-over-station-projects\/"},"modified":"2023-02-16T23:48:58","modified_gmt":"2023-02-17T05:48:58","slug":"helical-jv-to-develop-three-tfl-over-station-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsycanuse.com\/index.php\/2023\/02\/16\/helical-jv-to-develop-three-tfl-over-station-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Helical JV to develop three TfL over-station projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"wrapper_sleeve\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"620\" height=\"414\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ca.emap.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2023\/02\/Grimshaw-Architects-Image-Paddington-over-station-development-image-1.jpg\"   alt=\"Grimshaw-Architects-Image-Paddington-over-station-development-image-1.jpg\">        <\/p>\n<p>Grimshaw Architects&#8217; image of the over-station development in Paddington<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><span>Helical has been chosen for a joint venture with Transport for London (TfL) to develop offices over three central London tube stations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The London Stock Exchange-listed developer will take a 51 per cent share in a JV with TfL\u2019s property arm, TTL Properties Ltd (TTLP), for schemes over or close to Bank, Paddington and Southwark stations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>All three sites have full planning permission to deliver commercial office developments with ground-floor retail space.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>TfL claims the planned 17-storey hybrid timber development over Southwark \u201cis set to be one of the greenest and healthiest large-scale commercial buildings in the UK\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Paddington development will have 19 stories, while the Bank scheme \u2013 which is set to begin construction next year \u2013 will have eight.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The buildings will be constructed on a net-zero carbon basis and aim to encourage sustainable travel, including via the provision of 900 bicycle spaces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>TTLP is wholly owned by TfL but financed separately.
