Hadeswap intends to attract more SMB collectors by addressing the project\u2019s shortcomings while also holding on to its legacy, considering that SMB leads in trading volume when compared to other digital collectibles on Solana. However, the project\u2019s original creators haven\u2019t always been on good terms with a section of collectors who joined hands to create MonkeDAO to push SMB\u2019s boundaries.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span>A Second Collection with 5,000 Collectibles<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span>In an <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.figma.com\/proto\/rEfC7BCag3ebja6b5nfEHJ\/SMB-Website?page-id=249%3A15892&#038;node-id=258%3A38280&#038;viewport=-1205%2C-367%2C0.64&#038;scaling=min-zoom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span>announcement<\/span><\/a><span>, Hadeswap noted that it is armed with a dedicated team to help push the NFT project forward. However, its acquisition by Hadeswap faces some challenges since SMB has a semi-independent decentralized autonomous organization ( <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/fullycrypto.com\/what-is-a-dao-a-beginners-guide\"><span>DAO) <\/span><\/a><span>called MonkeDAO, which SMB creators had agreed to fund its efforts.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span>MonkeDAO Unsuccessfully Tried to Acquire SMB<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span>The NFT exchange disclosed that they\u2019re engaging MonkeDAO with hopes of getting them on board and helping them actualize their vision of extending the SMB ecosystem. According to MonkeDAO, the acquisition doesn\u2019t affect access to the DAO and doesn\u2019t automatically give HadesDAO a seat at MonkeDAO\u2019s governance table.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We have been informed that HadesDAO has purchased the Solana Monkey Business (SMB) NFT project and its IP.<\/p>\n<p>HadesDAO reached out to the MonkeDAO Executive Team, and we had our first meeting to discuss their acquisition of SMB on February 12th.
