(More clear was the general consensus that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2023\/02\/13\/1156079585\/super-bowl-commercials-from-adam-driver-s-to-m-m-candies-the-hits-and-the-misses\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">celebrity-stuffed ads underwhelmed<\/a> most observers and critics, while a few ads <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/Ad-Meter\/2023\/02\/13\/farmers-dog-rated-top-super-bowl-commercial-usa-today-ad-meter\/11220688002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">featuring dogs stole hearts<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<div id=\"piano-meter-offer\">\n<p>AdImpact broke down the ratings for the big game, starting with the national anthem, through a controversial penalty call late in the fourth quarter that influenced the game\u2019s outcome and finishing with the presentation of the Lombardi trophy to the Kansas City Chiefs, who defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s how the Super Bowl\u2019s ratings tracked, from beginning to end:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National anthem (6:30 p.m. \u2014 all times Eastern): 77 million\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Kickoff (6:43 p.m.): 98.8 million<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eagles<\/strong>\u2018 first touchdown (first quarter): 104 million\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chiefs<\/strong>\u2018 first touchdown (first quarter): 107.8 million<\/li>\n<li>End of first quarter: 114.6 million<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eagles<\/strong>\u2018 third touchdown (second quarter): 120 million\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Halftime: 124 million<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rihanna\u2019s<\/strong> performance during halftime: 123.5 million\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Start of third quarter: 121 million<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chiefs<\/strong>\u2018 third touchdown third quarter (8:56 pm): 122 million<\/li>\n<li>End of third quarter: 120 million<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chiefs<\/strong>\u2018 fourth the game (10:15 p.m.): 113.6 million<\/li>\n<li>Presentation of <strong>Lombardi trophy<\/strong>: 75.9 million<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cAdvertisers who participated in this year\u2019s big game experienced consistent higher ratings as the two teams battled down to the final field goal of the game,\u201d said Rick McGuire, AdImpact\u2019s director of sales, who said viewership was 20% higher than last year\u2019s game. \u201cThe combination of a close game and a younger-skewed halftime show, made for the perfect combination to keep viewers\u2019 interest right to the final seconds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to AdImpact\u2019s analysis and ratings tracking, it seems FanDuel\u2019s ad featuring former NFL player Rob Gronkowski kicking a field goal (he apparently missed the field goal, although to this viewer it looked like the ball went through the uprights) got the highest audience, given it came in the ad break right after the Chiefs\u2019 third touchdown in the third quarter.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><a
