Entertainment CAA aims to create opportunities for Hume\u2019s roster of virtual artists with top brands. Are broader audiences ready for this?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Virtual artist experiment FN Meka went down in flames<\/a>, a new cast of unreal musicians is rising. Now, web3 entertainment company <\/span>Hume<\/span><\/a> has signed with leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA). To encourage growth among virtual artists in the entertainment industry and redefine how they can influence popular culture, CAA will help Hume identify and create opportunities across various areas, including licensing and merchandising, brand partnerships, live events, film, television, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHume is fundamentally changing the way fans interact with their favorite artists, experience their music, and benefit from their loyalty,\u201d says CAA Agent Phil Quist.<\/span><\/p>\n

Co-founded by a platinum producer and songwriter for artists including Selena Gomez, G-Eazy, Aloe Blacc, and Demi Lovato, Hume wants to define the future of music with its community-directed metastars. As both an in-house entertainment studio and a web3 record label, Hume remixes community building with music creation, digital identity, and storytelling to redefine how fans engage with their favorite virtual artists.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The first in Hume\u2019s roster of metastars<\/a> \u2014 virtual music artists who blur the lines between the digital and physical worlds \u2014 is angelbaby, one of the highest-grossing and streamed web3 artists in the sphere. angelbaby has performed at Art Basel, Fluf Haus LA, and SXSW and has opened for Chromeo and Dillon Francis. His latest single, \u201cAll Gold Spaceship,\u201d is the first song voted on by the Hume community for release \u2014 all 300 of the related NFTs sold out within 10 seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBy combining the latest technology with artful storytelling and music, we\u2019re redefining what it means to be an artist. Hume\u2019s announcement of signing with CAA comes after a momentous 2022 for the company, which raised $11.7 million from investors including TCG Crypto, Gmoney, Aloe Blacc, Cooper Turley, and Evan Bogart, launched a new platform called \u201cThe Spot\u201d to empower fans to participate in creative decision-making, and hosted a songwriting camp at Art Basel in partnership with the generative audio project, Blocktones. Hume also recently debuted its next metastar, Clio, whose story will closely intertwine with angelbaby\u2019s.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
