\n\tUnfortunately, Dwayne \u201cThe Rock<\/a>\u201d Johnson\u2019s mother was in an almost fatal car accident<\/a> recently, in which she survived and will \u201ccontinue to get evaluated.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Hollywood A-Lister<\/a> revealed the unsettling news on Thursday (Feb. 2) via Instagram, with a photo of his mom\u2019s totaled red Cadillac truck. Ata Johnson, 74, had been hit by someone on the front passenger side of her vehicle, to which LAPD and LAFD had to be called to the scene.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThank you God [prayer emoji] she\u2019s ok,\u201d the 50-year-old former WWF wrestler <\/a>wrote. \u201cAngels of mercy watched over my mom as she was in a car crash late last night.\u00a0She\u2019ll survive and continue to get evaluated.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSpeaking on how resilient his mother is, the Black Adam <\/em>lead <\/a>added, \u201cThis woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, head on collision with a drunk driver.\u00a0She\u2019s a survivor, in ways that make angels and miracles real.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe thanked the Los Angeles Police and Fire departments for \u201cbeing so caring and focused,\u201d and \u201cstaying on the phone and talking me thru it all,\u201d before expressing, \u201cI got one parent left, so if you still got your mom and dad make sure you hug \u2018em hard, cos you never know when you\u2019ll get that 3am call we never want to get [heart emoji].\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDetails of what may have caused the collision have not been made public as of publication.<\/p>\n

Besides surprising her on Christmas with a golden ticket to buy any house she desires<\/a>, the beloved actor paid tribute to \u201cMama Rock\u201d for her 72nd birthday with a heartwarming Instagram video<\/a> in 2020.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe go down this unpredictable road of life and we never know what\u2019s around the corner \u2013 so we do our best to treat every day for what it is \u2013 a true blessing, And no one epitomizes that philosophy more than my mom,\u201d he wrote as his two daughters joined their \u201cGrammy\u201d on her special day. <\/p>\n
