Tom Brady apparently sent former New England Patriots teammate Rob Ninkovich an angry text message in response to some retirement talk.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Despite being 46 years old<\/a>, it doesn\u2019t appear that Tom Brady has any intention of retiring. He\u2019s been linked to the likes of the Patriots, Raiders and Buccaneers so far in this brief offseason period for Tampa Bay.<\/p>\n

Brady keeps in touch with his former teammates in the offseason. Per Rob Ninkovich, who won several Super Bowls with Brady, he received an angry text message from the QB.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been trying to investigate that (Brady\u2019s plans next season)\u2026 I\u2019ve been trying to get some info out of that and I\u2019m not getting anywhere with that,\u201d Ninkovich said<\/a>, laughing. \u201cAnd then I tried to be nice and just you know, hit up a friend and be like, \u2018Hey man, great season. I hope you\u2019re recovering\u2026 you finished well, you still got it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Ninkovich said that Brady responded, stating simply, \u201cnot according to your hard-hitting analysis.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tom Brady got sassy with Rob Ninkovich<\/h2>\n

Tom Brady needs constant motivation. When you\u2019re the best quarterback of all-time, you have to look around every corner for some doubters. Thankfully for TB12, he found one in his former teammate.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for Ninkovich, he couldn\u2019t remember exactly when he\u2019d bad-mouthed his former quarterback. In fact, it doesn\u2019t make a lot of sense as to why Ninkovich would do that in the first place \u2014 the two Patriots greats are friends, and Ninkovich surely knows what Brady is capable of at his best.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was trying to be nice\u2026 Now I\u2019m trying to think back, like what did I say bad?\u201d Ninkovich added.<\/p>\n

Brady is reportedly taking things one day at a time as it pertains to his future. Last offseason, he briefly retired before coming back just weeks later.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
