Mass production will begin later this year on Samsung&#8217;s 4LPP node. It is said to feature a quad-cluster (1+2+3+4) design with a total of ten cores. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"c9401020\">\n<p>Despite a few scattered reports suggesting otherwise, it is abundantly clear the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.notebookcheck.net\/Samsung-Galaxy-S23-lineup-pricing-leak-corroborates-earlier-rumors-of-a-price-hike-in-Europe.685263.0.html\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Galaxy S23<\/a> series will exclusively use the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.notebookcheck.net\/Qualcomm-Snapdragon-8-Gen-2-benchmark-results-surface-online.669736.0.html\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Snapdragon 8 Gen 2<\/a>. The rumoured <a href=\"http:\/\/www.notebookcheck.net\/Exynos-2300-Rumoured-flagship-SoC-could-power-the-Galaxy-Tab-S8-FE-Galaxy-S22-FE-and-Vivo-smartphones.676919.0.html\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Exynos 2300<\/a> that would have powered a flagship is now relegated to mid-range devices, such as the Galaxy Tab S8 FE and Galaxy S22 FE. However, the Qualcomm-only era for the Galaxy S series could be short-lived. <\/p>\n<p>South Korean tipster Vampire King <a href=\"https:\/\/meeco.kr\/mini\/36552954\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">says over at Meeco<\/a> that Samsung MX has already approved the Exynos 2400 (codenamed Root), and its mass production will begin in November 2023. The leaker adds South Korean variants of next year&#8217;s Galaxy S24 will be powered by the Exynos 2400. It is important to note the Exynos 2400 isn&#8217;t the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.notebookcheck.net\/2025-bound-Exynos-SoC-could-be-a-nine-core-monster-with-up-to-four-Cortex-X-cores.668666.0.html\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Galaxy-exclusive chip<\/a> developed by Samsung&#8217;s &#8220;Dream Team&#8221;. That SKU is supposedly earmarked for the Galaxy S25 and is expected to enter mass production in 2025, presumably as an answer to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.notebookcheck.net\/Qualcomm-Snapdragon-8-Gen-3-could-trade-blows-with-Apple-Silicon-thanks-to-massive-single-and-multi-core-gains-Snapdragon-8-Gen-4-rumoured-to-launch-with-Nuvia-cores.680112.0.html\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Snapdragon 8 Gen 4&#8217;s Nuvia cores<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>That said, the Exynos 2400 follow the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2&#8217;s quad-cluster design with a prime Cortex-X4 core, two clusters of Cortex-A720 cores and four Cortex-A510 cores. It is difficult to zero in on the exact number of Cortex-A720 cores (and the total CPU cores, for that matter) due to conflicting information provided by the same source. <a href=\"https:\/\/gamma0burst.tistory.com\/1057\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">One rumour states<\/a> it will feature eight (1+4+3) CPU cores <a href=\"https:\/\/meeco.kr\/mini\/36272944\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">while another one<\/a> ups that figure to ten (1+2+3+4). The AP will <a href=\"https:\/\/meeco.kr\/index.php?mid=mini&#038;member_srl=266&#038;document_srl=36581473\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">supposedly be fabricated<\/a> on Samsung&#8217;s 4LPP node.
