\n\tThe streaming service has handed out a second-season renewal to the spy drama starring Noah Centineo.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tFrom creator\/showrunner\/exec producer Alexi Hawley, The Recruit <\/em>spent five weeks on Netflix\u2019s global top 10 list, reaching the charts in 88 countries following its Dec. 16 debut.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m thrilled to dive back into the fun, funny, action-packed world of\u00a0The Recruit<\/em>. Seeing how invested our audience became in the show\u2019s adventurous take on the spy world and Noah\u2019s turn as Owen has been incredibly rewarding, and I can\u2019t wait to turn it all up to \u201811\u2019 in season two,\u201d Hawley said.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe series hails from Entertainment One<\/a> and counts Hypnotic\u2019s Doug Liman, Gene Klein and David Bartis; P3 Media\u2019s Adam Ciralsky and Charlie Ebersol as executive producers. Hawley, who serves as showrunner\/creator on ABC\u2019s The Rookie <\/em>and its Feds <\/em>spinoff, also exec produces.<\/p>\n

\n\tCentineo, who marks his first series regular starring role<\/a> following the breakout of Netflix\u2019s To All the Boys <\/em>franchise, also exec produces the series. \u201cI know I speak for our entire cast and executive team at eOne and Netflix when I say that we are thrilled to be returning to The Recruit<\/em> for a second season. I\u2019m looking forward to seeing what Alexi Hawley has in store for us all,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tLaura Haddock, Fivel Stewart, Vondie Curtis Hall, Kristian Bruun, Aarti Mann, Colton Dunn and Daniel Quincy Annoh round out the season one cast.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
