Months after award nomination announcements<\/a>, the Grammys <\/strong>officially announced Lizzo, Mary J. Blige, and DJ Khaled would be taking the stage at the award ceremony.<\/p>\n

The show will also be hosted by former Daily Show<\/em> host Trevor Noah when it airs at 8 PM on Feb. 5th.<\/p>\n

There are also rumors adding to the fanfare that Khaled could bring out Jay-Z, who is known to show off<\/a> his past wins at the show.\u00a0 They are rumored to perform \u201cGod Did\u201d from the same-titled album that went No. 1 on Billboard<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul will make her way to the stage after coming off her recent tour<\/a> for her 14th album, Good Morning<\/strong> Gorgeous<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Grammys<\/strong> follows a year after Rap<\/strong> A Lot Records<\/strong> boss, J. Prince<\/strong> said Black people should \u00a0boycott the award show<\/a> because of its history of \u201cnot showing love to hip-hop culture.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Rap icons Lil Wayne<\/strong>, Missy Elliott,<\/strong> and Dr. Dre<\/strong> will also be honored at the Black Music Collective<\/strong> for their contributions to music. They will be honored<\/a> during Grammy<\/strong> weekend with the Global Impact Award<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
