Lisa Marie Presley\u2019s eldest daughter, Riley Keough, paid tribute to her late mother at a public service held <\/a>at Graceland on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The \u201cDaisy Jones & The Six\u201d star, who was slated to speak at the memorial, tapped her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, to read a heartwarming letter on her behalf.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you for being my mother in this life,\u201d her message began. \u201cI\u2019m eternally grateful.\u201d <\/p>\n

In the letter, Keough, 33, said she recalled \u201ceverything\u201d about her late mom.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember you giving me baths as a baby, driving me in my car seat listening to Aretha Franklin \u2026 taking me for ice cream after school in Florida,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember you singing to me and my brother lullabies at night, and how you\u2019d lay with us until we fell asleep,\u201d she continued, referencing her late brother, Benjamin Keough.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember how it felt be loved by the most loving mother I\u2019ve ever known. How safe it felt to be in your arms: I remember that feeling as a child and I remember it two weeks ago on your couch.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lisa Marie \u2013 the only child of the late Elvis Presley and his wife, Priscilla Presley \u2013 died on Jan. 12<\/a>\u00a0after\u00a0suffering cardiac arrest<\/a>. She was 54.<\/p>\n

Priscilla also took the stage at the service to read a poem written by one of her granddaughters, which was titled, \u201cThe Old Soul.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to read something my granddaughter wrote. I have no idea how to put my mother into words. Truth is there are too many,\u201d she began.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was an icon, a role model, a superhero to many people all over the world,\u201d her message continued, noting Lisa Marie \u201calways knew she wouldn\u2019t be here too long.\u201d<\/p>\n

The poem went on to talk about Benjamin, who\u00a0died by suicide<\/a>\u00a0at age 27 in July 2020.<\/p>\n

Keough first addressed her mom\u2019s passing<\/a> in an Instagram post last week.<\/a><\/p>\n

She shared a throwback snap of herself as a youngster holding flowers while looking up at her mom. She captioned the post simply with a red heart emoji.<\/p>\n

Her grandmother, Priscilla, 77, spoke out earlier in the week to confirm Lisa Marie\u2019s passing. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter, Lisa Marie, has left us,\u201d the late Elvis Presley\u2019s wife said in a statement. <\/p>\n

\u201cShe was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.\u201d<\/p>\n

Keough had a strong bond with her mother, with whom she frequently posed for photos with.<\/p>\n

In a February 2021 birthday tribute,\u00a0Lisa Marie wrote<\/a>, \u201cLike everyday [sic], I couldn\u2019t have made it through without these three by my side,\u201d referencing\u00a0Keough and her twin daughters, Finley and Harper<\/a>, 14. <\/p>\n

Lisa Marie shared both Riley and Benjamin with her first husband, Danny Keough. <\/p>\n

She had been candid about the grief she suffered after Benjamin died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The rock \u2018n roll heiress \u201cbeat [herself] up tirelessly and chronically<\/a>, blaming [herself] every single day\u201d for her son\u2019s tragic death, she wore in an August 2022 essay. <\/p>\n

The singer was also married to Michael Jackson from 1994 to 1996, Nicolas Cage from 2002 to 2004, and Michael Lockwood, from 2006 to 2021<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She co-parented her twins, Finley and Harper, with her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood, following a bitter custody battle.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
