Sarah Ferguson quoted her late mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth ll, during Lisa Marie Presley\u2019s memorial service at Graceland<\/a> on Sunday. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s time to stoke our flames within \u2026 to celebrate the extraordinary Lisa Marie,\u201d the Duchess of York, 63, began, noting that she and Presley called each other \u201csissy.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cMy late mother-in-law used to say that nothing [that] can be said can begin to take away the anguish and the pain of these moments, because grief is the price we pay for love. And how right she was.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ferguson was quoting a message<\/a> Queen Elizabeth gave to New York following the tragic Sept. 11 attacks in 2001. The late British monarch died in September 2022<\/a> at the age of 96.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the speech, Ferguson also referenced Lisa Marie\u2019s late son, Benjamin Keough, who\u00a0died by suicide<\/a>\u00a0at age 27 in July 2020.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe look to Lisa Marie [who] lost a son,\u201d the mother of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie continued. \u201cMothers losing children, there are no words for it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ferguson then addressed Lisa Marie\u2019s three daughters: Riley Keough, 33, and twins Finley and Harper, 14<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday we talk about action. For Riley, for Harper and Finley, we march forward in support of you,\u201d she said. \u201cAll of us are with you and we will help you as best we can, if you put out your hand.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alanis Morissette and Axl Rose were also on hand to pay tribute to Elvis Presley\u2019s daughter \u2013 who\u00a0died on Jan. 12<\/a>\u00a0at the age of 54 \u2013 at the late icon\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

Page Six was first to report the news that Ferguson had flown in from the UK ahead of her longtime friend\u2019s memorial service.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think she\u2019s with [her son] Ben now,\u201d the royal exclusively told us, noting that she believes Lisa Marie died of a broken heart following\u00a0Ben\u2019s death.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we need to make sure Finley, Riley and Harper are fully supported going forward. She was so proud of them, so proud,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
