Meet the littlest Legend!<\/p>\n

Chrissy Teigen<\/strong><\/a> and John Legend<\/a><\/strong>, who welcomed a little one on Jan. 13<\/a>, have shared their newborn’s name and sex with the world.<\/p>\n

“She’s here! Esti Maxine Stephens<\/strong> – the house is bustling and our family could not be happier,” Chrissy wrote on Instagram<\/a> Jan. 19 alongside a family photo.\u00a0“Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna<\/strong> and Miles<\/strong> so full of love, and I am learning you still need diapers with a c section!? We are in bliss. Thank you for all the love and well wishes – we feel it all! X.”<\/p>\n

John\u2014real name John Stephens<\/strong>\u2014broke the news that Esti\u00a0had arrived during a private concert, E! News can confirm. During the performance, he shared that their newborn was born earlier that morning,” adding, “What a blessed day.” He also said that while he didn’t get a lot of sleep, he felt “energized” after spending “a lot of time” at the hospital.<\/p>\n

John and Chrissy, also parents to daughter\u00a0Luna, 6, and son\u00a0Miles, 4, welcomed their newborn more than two years after the model suffered a pregnancy loss<\/a> with son\u00a0Jack<\/strong>. Chrissy had shared the heartbreaking news on social media.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about,” she wrote on Instagram<\/a>. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Chrissy had become pregnant with Jack naturally, while the couple’s other children were conceived through IVF. She resumed\u00a0her fertility treatments<\/a>\u00a0before\u00a0announcing in 2022 that she and John were expecting again<\/a>. Chrissy also reflected on the time that had gone by since their loss.<\/p>\n

“The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least,” she wrote in the\u00a0Aug. 3 Instagram post<\/a>, “but joy has filled our home and hearts again. 1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Within her announcement post, the Cravings<\/em>\u00a0author admitted that she had hesitation to break the news.\u00a0“Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still,” she continued. “I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful.”<\/p>\n

The following month, John shared a similar sentiment, noting that joy and nerves were mixed together when it came to their then baby on the way.<\/p>\n

“You know it’s always a bit of cautious optimism<\/a>, especially when you’ve lost one before,” John said in a September\u00a0interview on Sunday Today With Willie Geist<\/a><\/em>. “But we really feel excited.”<\/p>\n

Looking back on their loss and towards the future, John said they are ready for a new chapter.\u00a0“It feels like we learned so much over the years through struggle and through the challenges that we faced,” he continued. “And we’re ready. We’re ready for a new baby in our lives.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
