The facility is expected to become operational from the Australian summer of 2024\/2025. UGL will also install the battery itself.<\/p>\n<p>UGL is a specialist in the design, construction and operation of renewable energy infrastructure. To date it has built 11 solar farms and installed three large-scale batteries.<\/p>\n<p>The company is owned by Cimic Group \u2013 formerly Leighton Holdings \u2013 which is itself a subsidiary of German contractor Hochtief.<\/p>\n<p>Cimic Group executive chairman Juan Santamaria said: \u201cCimic is actively pursuing the emerging opportunities driven by the energy transition and we\u2019re proud to again work with Neoen.
