(<em>That \u201970s Show<\/em> ran until 2006, with <em>Night Court<\/em> signing off in 1992.) In the case of <em>That &#8217;90s Show<\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glamour.com\/story\/that-90s-show-everything-we-know-about-the-nostalgic-reboot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">it has a new home on Netflix<\/a> (it originally aired on Fox), with O.G. cast members Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith returning in full-time roles.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s set (again) at the Foreman house in Wisconsin, where Kitty (Rupp) and Red (Smith) are now empty nesters after their son Eric (Topher Grace) married his longtime love, Donna (Laura Prepon). But then Eric and Donna&#8217;s daughter, Leia, comes to visit and starts hanging out in the basement with a new group of friends\u2014and some fun guest appearances.<\/p>\n<p>Over on NBC, Melissa Rauch (<em>The Big Bang Theory<\/em>&#8216;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glamour.com\/story\/the-big-bang-theory-best-episodes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr. Bernadette Rostenkowski Wolowitz<\/a>) plays Abby Stone, a young judge who tries to bring order back to the night shift at the same New York City municipal court that was presided over by her father, Harry T. Stone (the late Harry Anderson) in the \u201880s and \u201990s. The series picks up with Stone trying to recruit Dan Fielding (John Larroquette) to come back to his old stomping grounds. Regardless of whether you watched the original series, Rauch and Larroquette are fantastic together, bringing new life to a fan favorite.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On the award show front (because it&#8217;s January, and there&#8217;s <em>always<\/em> an award show), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glamour.com\/about\/critics-choice-awards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Critics Choice Awards<\/a> will honor the best in film and TV, voted on by the critics. (Full disclosure: I&#8217;m a voting member in the TV branch, and will be seated at the <em>Gaslit<\/em> table with Julia Roberts and the Starz team.) This will be an even bigger turnout than the Globes\u2014there are more categories\u2014so order in some takeout and get comfy on the couch.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hallmark also premieres its new family drama <em>The Way Home<\/em>, which stars Andie MacDowell and Chyler Leigh.
