It works with industry players and service providers to make Malaysia a leading global healthcare destination under the &#8220;Malaysia Healthcare&#8221; brand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-b2a21601-7fff-7193-c7ec-feee95a27ed5\">In this partnership, HIMSS will engage leading hospitals in Malaysia to work on their accreditations for the HIMSS Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM) through Stage 7. The MHTC will then recommend the HIMSS EMRAM, which measures a facility&#8217;s EMR maturity, to all of its 73 member hospitals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-b2a21601-7fff-7193-c7ec-feee95a27ed5\">The collaboration also seeks to develop Malaysia&#8217;s healthcare travel industry in line with the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Industry Blueprint 2021-2025. It covers four areas:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-b2a21601-7fff-7193-c7ec-feee95a27ed5\">Knowledge sharing and capacity building initiatives<\/span><\/strong> to push for continuous digital and technology adoption in the Malaysia Healthcare ecosystem;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-b2a21601-7fff-7193-c7ec-feee95a27ed5\">Strategic thought leadership initiatives<\/span><\/strong> to build a value proposition for Malaysia by\u00a0<span id=\"docs-internal-guid-b2a21601-7fff-7193-c7ec-feee95a27ed5\">leveraging both parties&#8217; resources, expertise, and capabilities in healthcare travel and wellness;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-b2a21601-7fff-7193-c7ec-feee95a27ed5\">Leverage HIMSS&#8217; regional and global network<\/span><\/strong> as well as <strong>thought leadership\u00a0<span id=\"docs-internal-guid-b2a21601-7fff-7193-c7ec-feee95a27ed5\">platforms<\/span><\/strong> to profile and increase Malaysia Healthcare&#8217;s reach, especially in identified\u00a0<span id=\"docs-internal-guid-b2a21601-7fff-7193-c7ec-feee95a27ed5\">focus markets; and\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-b2a21601-7fff-7193-c7ec-feee95a27ed5\"><strong>Forge new avenues for strategic industry collaboration<\/strong> <\/span>to prepare Malaysia\u2019s private hospitals to adopt digital maturity models and engage in government-to-government partnerships for knowledge sharing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-b2a21601-7fff-7193-c7ec-feee95a27ed5\">WHY IT MATTERS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-b2a21601-7fff-7193-c7ec-feee95a27ed5\">MHTC is taking a unified and collaborative approach to digitalisation to redefine the patient experience.
