\n\tLil Dicky<\/a> is gearing up for the third season of his FXX comedy Dave<\/em> and, once again, he\u2019s got a boatload of guest stars on tap to help tell the tale of the striving rapper with crippling writer\u2019s block whose career is a series of unfortunate incidents. <\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to Deadline<\/a><\/em>, at this year\u2019s Television Critic\u2019s Association gathering, comedian\/rapper Dicky (born Dave Burd), unlocked the A-list names that will join him on the upcoming season, which will include Demi Lovato, Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox, Usher, Rick Ross, Don Cheadle, Killer Mike, Travis Barker and more. \u201cThat\u2019s just a fraction and the fraction I haven\u2019t named, will blow you away,\u201d Burd reportedly told TCA attendees on Thursday (Jan. 12).<\/p>\n

\n\tThe show\u2019s co-creator, Jeff Schaffer, noted that the series\u2019 signature drop-ins from famous faces is all part of the warped reality narrative of Dave\u2019s eternally about-to-take-off career and the skewering of celebrity culture. \u201cOn\u00a0Dave,\u00a0<\/em>People like playing funhouse versions of themselves or play with their public perception \u2013 a real plus for them,\u201d he said. \u201cEveryone from Lin-Manuel Miranda playing a passive aggressive a\u2013hole. People want to come and have fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe upcoming season premieres on FXX on April 5 at 10 p.m. ET (and streams the next day on Hulu), with the first two episodes chronicling Dave headlining his first tour, on which he and his crew \u2014 rapper GaTa (\u201cGaTa\u201d), Andrew Santino (\u201cMike\u201d), Taylor Misiak (\u201cAlly\u201d), Travis Bennett (\u201cElz\u201d) and Christine Ko (\u201cEmma\u201d) \u2014 learn a few things about the country, and each other.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier this month, GaTa hyped up the new season, tweeting, \u201cSeason 3 will be the best TV SHOW<\/a> of the Year! This tweet will age well and gracefully. I promise y\u2019all.\u201d On Thursday, Dicky was equally effusive, tweeting, \u201cSeason 3 starts April 5th\u2026third time\u2019s the charm \u2013 most rapping, most funny, most cinematic, most romantic, most definitely the most exciting season ever!!!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n
