Saying it\u2019s a \u201ccopy editing tweak\u201d shifts the blame over to the copy editor, who should have caught whatever it is in the first place; it\u2019s obviously not the writer\u2019s fault.<\/p>\n

As Twitchy reported earlier, Christopher Rufo learned that the Washington Post would be appending a correction<\/a> to its hit piece on him. Rufo also reached out to Jonathan Chait\u2019s editor at New York magazine for a correction. Christina Pushaw has been branded as a homophobe and transphobe because she once called Florida\u2019s Parental Rights in Education bill \u201cthe anti-grooming bill\u201d \u2014 that\u2019s the type of rhetoric that extremism experts told a New York Times reporter can increase the likelihood of violence against trans people.<\/p>\n

Andrew Sullivan once asked Rufo if he\u2019d condemn the use of the word \u201cgroomer\u201d:<\/p>\n

But you can surely condemn the use of the word \u201cgroomer\u201d as a slur to suggest teachers are pedophiles, right?<\/p>\n
