Finally?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<p>It\u2019s been rumored for years, but 2023 might finally see Apple launch its long awaited mixed reality headset. That\u2019s according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2023\/1\/8\/23544646\/apple-mixed-reality-headset-spring-2023-rumors\"><em>Bloomberg<\/em>\u2019s Mark Gurman<\/a> (and previously reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mingchikuo\/status\/1611210755231338504?s=20&#038;t=gLJQJZmamWoYqAMpjQFa_Q\">Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo<\/a>), who reports that the device could be revealed ahead of this year\u2019s WWDC, ready to ship this fall. There\u2019s no guarantee that Apple will actually hit this internal deadline (it\u2019s apparently <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mingchikuo\/status\/1611210755231338504?s=20&#038;t=gLJQJZmamWoYqAMpjQFa_Q\">having issues with drop testing<\/a>), but its announcement still seems closer than ever.<\/p>\n<p>In the more immediate future, Raspberry Pi has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2023\/1\/9\/23546129\/raspberry-pi-camera-module-3-resolution-specs-price-release-date-features\">a new camera module it&#8217;s announcing today<\/a>. The big addition with the Camera Module 3 is autofocus support, which should allow Pi users to take crisper photographs with the diminutive DIY computers. Microsoft is expected to announce this event in the coming days.<\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<hr>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<hr>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>\n<p>The Supreme Court won\u2019t block WhatsApp\u2019s lawsuit against the developer of the Pegasus spyware.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2019\/10\/29\/20938676\/whatsapp-nso-group-spyware-hack-encrypted-chat-lawsuit\">WhatsApp sued<\/a> the Israel-based NSO Group for allegedly accessing its servers and deploying Pegasus spyware, allowing it to surveil 1,400 people on the app. With the Supreme Court\u2019s approval, the case will move forward in a California Northern District court.<\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<hr>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<hr>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>\n<p>Netflix\u2019s Inside Job won\u2019t be coming back for a second season, actually.<\/p>\n<p>Netflix initially renewed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/animation-cartoons\/22696218\/inside-job-netflix-creator-shion-takeuchi-gravity-falls-interview\">Shion Takeuchi\u2019s <em>Inside Job<\/em><\/a><em> <\/em>adult animated series for a <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2022\/06\/inside-job-renewed-season-2-netflix-1235040797\/\">second season<\/a> shortly after the first half of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/23160416\/inside-job-netflix-season-2-part-trailer-release-date\">its first season<\/a> debuted back in the fall of 2021. Between Netflix\u2019s ordering more episodes, and the second batch of episodes ending on something of a cliffhanger, it seemed very much like the streamer was serious about keeping <em>Inside Job <\/em>going.<\/p>\n<p>But over the weekend, Takeuchi took to her Twitter account to announce that, unfortunately, <em>Inside Job<\/em>\u2019s going the way of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2022\/12\/16\/23513359\/netflix-is-taking-blockbuster-behind-the-woodshed-again\"><em>Blockbuster<\/em><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2023\/tv\/news\/1899-canceled-season-two-netflix-1235477349\/\"><em>1899<\/em><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pastemagazine.com\/tv\/netflix\/glow-netflix-renewal-reversal-cancelled\/\"><em>GLOW<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<hr>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<hr>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>\n<p>Your next customer service complaint could be handled by ChatGPT.<\/p>\n<p>ChatGPT has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2022\/12\/8\/23499728\/ai-capability-accessibility-chatgpt-stable-diffusion-commercialization\">sent the web wild<\/a> with its surprising and eloquent demos \u2014 but don\u2019t forget it\u2019s also a business. <em>Forbes<\/em> reports that ChatGPT will soon be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/rashishrivastava\/2023\/01\/09\/chatgpt-is-coming-to-a-customer-service-chatbot-near-you\/\">used by customer service automater Ada<\/a>, which works with companies from Meta to AirAsia.
