Galatasaray have made a final decision on the future of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen amid growing interest from several top European clubs this summer, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen has been strongly linked with a move away from the Turkish champions throughout the summer after enjoying another outstanding campaign.

The 27-year-old scored 22 goals across all competitions and played a leading role as Galatasaray won a fourth consecutive Turkish Super Lig title, while they also got to the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

Although the Nigerian forward has already attracted interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, speculation over his future has intensified in recent days following strong interest from the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race for his signature as they aim to strengthen their attack this summer, with uncertainty surrounding the future of Brazilian striker Richarlison, while concerns remain over Dominic Solanke’s injury record, making a new centre forward a priority.

Manchester United and Arsenal are also actively monitoring the situation, while Spanish champions Barcelona have already withdrawn from the race and are no longer considering a move for Osimhen this summer.

Despite the growing interest, Galatasaray remain in complete control of the situation with the Super Eagles star under contract until 2029 and with the new season fast approaching, the Turkish giants have now made their position clear.

The Turkish champions have once again insisted that Osimhen is not for sale this summer, despite interest from clubs hoping to make him their marquee signing ahead of the new campaign.

Galatasaray have no intention of listening to offers, including from Tottenham, as they view the 27-year-old as a central figure in their long-term plans and want to build the team around him for many years.

“Victor is at Galatasaray and is focused on achieving success with the club. There is no intention from Galatasaray to sell him this summer”, a source close to the Super Eagles star said, via Footy-Africa.

Galatasaray’s stance represents a major setback for Tottenham and other clubs hoping to secure Osimhen before the transfer window closes.

Unless there is a dramatic change, the Super Eagles striker looks set to remain in Istanbul, where he will be expected to lead Galatasaray’s bid for a fifth straight Turkish Super Lig title while also helping the club improve its performances in the UEFA Champions League next season.
