Israel DMW, the logistics manager to Nigerian music star Davido, has voiced strong concern over the worsening security situation in Nigeria after sharing a disturbing video showing armed men assaulting a kidnapped victim.
In a post on his Instagram page dated June 4, 2026, Israel DMW, who is from Edo State, uploaded the graphic footage of suspected bandits violently attacking a captive. He described the incident as deeply troubling and unacceptable, highlighting the growing insecurity in the country.
Known for his outspoken views on national issues, Israel has frequently criticised the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly over insecurity and governance challenges.
In an earlier post, he stated that he would “rather pick a waybill for a friend in Warri than vote APC in 2027,” also referring to the government in harsh terms.
In his latest message alongside the video, he called on Nigerians to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), warning against what he described as the dangers of trading votes for money or food items such as rice and noodles ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Accompanying the post, he wrote: “Think about this, before collecting 10k, half or full bag of rice, indomie, to sell your soul in next year’s 2027 election. Many of these evil guys have been arrested, later released, under the trick that they have repented. That’s even the most annoying thing.”
