Daddy Freeze Reacts Again To Backlash Over Outfit At Alexx Ekubo Event

  • Daddy Freeze feels vindicated amid new discussions about Alexx Ekubo’s funeral.
  • He reflects on past backlash for wearing black to Ekubo’s service of songs, which had a white dress code.
  • The situation has sparked reactions from Ekubo’s family members.

Controversial media personality Daddy Freeze has said he feels vindicated amid fresh discussions and allegations surrounding the funeral of late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo and reactions from members of the actor’s family.

In a video currently making the rounds online, Daddy Freeze revisited the backlash he received following Alexx Ekubo’s service of songs held in Lagos, where he arrived dressed in black despite an announced all-white dress code.

Reacting to criticism from a woman who questioned his choice of outfit, he defended himself, saying:

“We can see that there is an issue with the dress code, I went as led by the spirit, in all honesty I didn’t see the white, I don’t understand the white.”

He further maintained that he was not the only guest who wore black to the event, contrary to reports circulating on social media. According to him, some members of the bereaved family also appeared in the same colour, suggesting that the dress code was not strictly followed or clearly observed by everyone present.

The media personality’s comments have since reignited conversations online about the event and the controversy that followed his appearance.
