Speaking in an interview, Mijungu said he wears many hats, including those of a lawyer, consultant, entrepreneur, and businessman.

“I do a lot of things. I’m a consultant, and I’m a lawyer. The reason why I took this break is to go back to school. I’m back in school for my bar exams, so even right now when I leave, I’m headed to the Kenya School of Law,” he said.

He disclosed that, alongside pursuing his legal qualifications, he continues to offer legal and media consultancy services.

“My legal consultancy still continues. I’m a legal consultant, and I do media consultancy. I’m also a businessman. I do a lot of exports and imports, and I also do immigration consultancy,” he explained.

Mijungu added that he has been in the executive car business since 2010, supplying luxury and exotic vehicles to clients.

“I’ve had an executive car business since 2010. I have 4×4 luxury cars and exotic cars. If you want three Lamborghinis in your fleet, I’m the one who can get them for you,” he said.

The seasoned journalist also revealed that he ventured into the helicopter charter business, where he works with partners who own helicopters stationed at Wilson Airport.

“I got into the chopper business. I have a chopper stationed here through some of my friends at Wilson, and I also work with other people who have choppers whenever I have business,” he said.

Mijungu emphasised that his entrepreneurial ventures have enabled him to remain financially independent from the media industry.

“So I do a lot of things. I have never depended on the media,” he stated.

He attributed his success to discipline and a strong work ethic, revealing that he sleeps only three to four hours a night to manage his demanding schedule.

“You have to work extra hours when people sleep. I am awake when people are sleeping, and when people are awake, I’m also awake. You’ll never find me sleeping during the day. I sleep a maximum of three to four hours,” he said.

However, he noted that he balances his demanding lifestyle by taking extended holidays where he completely disconnects from work.

“When I want to rest, I go on holiday, switch off my phone for even two weeks, and rest properly,” he added.
