According to Football Italia, Chelsea is interested in signing Juventus full-back Andrea Cambiaso.
The Italy international has been linked with a move away from Turin this summer, with Juventus reportedly prepared to listen to offers if its valuation is met.
Chelsea is looking at possible defensive additions, and Cambiaso’s versatility makes him an interesting option. The 26-year-old can play at left-back, right-back, or wing-back, which would give the Blues another flexible option on both sides of the defense.
Barcelona has also been credited with an interest in Cambiaso, and Juventus is said to want at least €30 million before agreeing to sell. The Italian club failed to qualify for the Champions League, which could influence its transfer plans this summer.
Cambiaso joined Juventus from Genoa in 2022 and spent time on loan at Bologna before becoming part of the first-team setup in Turin. His ability to cover several roles has made him a useful player for club and country.
At this stage, Chelsea’s interest does not appear to be advanced, but Cambiaso could become one of the names to watch if the Premier League club decides to strengthen its full-back options.
