This figure is €1 million lower than his current valuation on Transfermarkt, which is understandable given that the Nigerian has just one year left on his contract. With the player unwilling to sign an extension, the Turkish club risks losing him on a free transfer next summer.
The €7 million asking price is an affordable fee for the major clubs interested in his services: Coventry City and Trabzonspor.
The Sky Blues recently gained promotion to the Premier League, granting them significant financial resources. Meanwhile, Trabzonspor won the Turkish Cup last season and qualified for the Europa League; they are also expected to generate funds through player sales, giving them the necessary financial flexibility.
However, it appears that Dennis’ preferred destination is the Premier League. Having spent his entire time in Europe in Turkey, he will surely be intrigued by the allure of English football.
