Soccer Wilfred Ndidi: Saudi, Premier League clubs on alert as fresh interest emerges for Super Eagles star

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been linked with a potential move to the Dutch Eredivisie, Soccernet.ng reports.

Ndidi’s future has become a major talking point at Besiktas this summer. The 29-year-old midfielder, who arrived from Leicester City just last year, was initially expected to be a cornerstone of the club’s midfield for the foreseeable future.

However, following a disappointing campaign last season, the club parted ways with manager Sergen Yalçın.

His successor, Vincenzo Italiano, has already begun an extensive squad overhaul, and it appears Ndidi is among those deemed surplus to requirements as he does not fit the Italian tactician’s tactical system.

Consequently, speculation regarding his next move has intensified. While Saudi Arabia and the English Premier League have been touted as potential destinations for the Nigerian international, no concrete offers have materialized thus far.

Soccer Where Will Wilfred Ndidi Go Next?

Turkish outlet Fanatik reports that a move within the Turkish Süper Lig has also emerged as a possibility, though the specific clubs interested in his services remain undisclosed.

As he approaches his 30s, the Super Eagles star is expected to prioritize more lucrative offers as he begins to look toward the latter stages of his career.

Currently valued at €8 million by Transfermarkt, Ndidi remains an affordable option for many clubs. Given that Besiktas is eager to offload him, they may even be willing to negotiate a discounted transfer fee.

This summer represents a pivotal juncture for Ndidi, and he will undoubtedly be aiming to secure a move that aligns with his professional ambitions.
