Josh Hokit reveals 7-figure sum he expects to have earned in the UFC by the end of 2026

Football

It has been a controversial year for Josh Hokit — but also a lucrative one.

The former American football player has become the latest fighter looking to gain prominence in the UFC with a polarizing persona.

It looks to have worked for ‘The Incredible Hok’ so far, as he has already broken into the top five of the heavyweight division less than a year after earning his contract on Dana White’s Contender Series.

Hokit has caused a stir with many of his comments and antics, but that does not look to have stopped him from enjoying a financially successful first full calendar year in the UFC.

Josh Hokit wants to fight Alex Pereira after UFC Freedom 250, but could he actually beat ‘Poatan’? 🤔

We want to hear your prediction for this potential clash of UFC White House stars!

Football Josh Hokit predicts $3-4 million earnings in his first full year in the UFC

In his fourth Octagon appearance, Hokit knocked out Derrick Lewis at the White House.

Rather than his UFC Freedom 250 performance, however, it was Hokit’s decision to target Michelle Obama during his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan that gained mainstream attention.

During a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, the 28-year-old was asked if his antics and controversial remarks have cost him sponsorships.

Rather than being hindered by his gimmick, however, Hokit claims to be thriving because of it, so much so that he’s predicting earnings of over $3 million in his first full calendar year as a UFC fighter.

“This is what happens when you express some courage and then you back it up,” Hokit said.

“If anything, I’ve gained more money. You’re looking at — maybe I’ll coach a class on this one day.

“I’ve gotten seven figures in seven months, let’s put it like that,” he added.

“By the end of the year, this might be a $3-4 million year.”

Hokit’s finances look set to be boosted by another quick turnaround.

During the same interview, he suggested that fans will be seeing him back inside the cage sooner than they expected — and maybe wanted to.

‘The Incredible Hok’ has called for fights against Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane since the trio appeared on the UFC White House card on June 14.
