We officially have a Dallas Cowboys training camp schedule.
Dallas Cowboys rookies and veterans are scheduled to report to training camp in Oxnard, California on July 28th, almost 30 days from now. The countdown is on until football activities are dominating our lives on a daily basis once more. The end is near, my friends.
We have specific details on all of this as the team announced their training camp schedule for the upcoming slate. You can access it below. Please note that all times are listed in PDT.
As you can see the Cowboys get right to work the day after they report. No rest for the weary.
Below are the specific times of each day, as provided by the mothership, once again in PDT:
- Wednesday, July 29 – Open Practice @ 11:45 am
- Thursday, July 30 – Open Practice @ 11:45 am
- Friday, July 31 – 5th Oxnard Fan Night hosted by Visit Oxnard at The Collection at RiverPark @ 4-6 pm
- Saturday, August 1 – Cowboys Back Together Saturday & Opening Ceremony presented by American Airlines
- 9:15am Doors open
- 11:15am Opening Ceremony
- 11:45am Open Practice
- Sunday, August 2 – Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Dance Clinic at Rio Mesa High School from 3:00-6:00 pm
- Monday, August 3 – Open Practice @ 11:45 am
- Tuesday, August 4 – Open Practice @ 11:45 am
- Wednesday, August 5 – Dallas Cowboys NFL FLAG Training Camp presented by UHC
- Thursday, August 6 – Heroes Appreciation Day presented by USAA @ 11:45 am
- Saturday, August 8 – Open Practice @ 11:45 am
- Sunday, August 9 – Open Practice @ 11:45 am
- Tuesday, August 11 – Scrimmage @ the Los Angeles Rams @ TBD at Rams Village in the Warner Center in Woodland Hills, CA
- Thursday, August 13 – Open Practice @ 11:45 am
- Friday, August 14 – Open Practice @ 11:45 am
- Saturday, August 15 – PRESEASON GAME 1 @ SEATTLE SEAHAWKS: LUMEN FIELD @ 7:00 pm CT
- Monday, August 17 – Open Practice @ 11:45 am
- Tuesday, August 18 – Scrimmage with New Orleans Saints @ 2:00 pm
- Saturday, August 22 – PRESEASON GAME 2 at ARIZONA CARDINALS: STATE FARM STADIUM @ 9:00 pm CT
- Friday, August 28 – PRESEASON GAME 3 vs. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS: AT&T Stadium @ 7:00 pm CT
The mothership also noted that the Cowboys will leave Oxnard after their August 13th practice. So keep that in mind in general and specifically if you are making plans to attend either the Oxnard or Frisco portion of training camp yourself.
