An Oxfordshire pub is hosting a three-day festival to support a local animal charity.
ApTap Fest ’26 will take over The Apothecary Tap in Banbury from May 22 to May 24, featuring original live music.
Organised by Strummer Room Records Presents, the festival is in aid of BARKS, a charity supporting small animals in the community.
The event, which is the first major multi-day festival of the year, will feature performances from 15 different bands and musicians across a range of genres.
Tickets can be purchased for the entire weekend or for individual days, with proceeds helping to raise vital funds for BARKS.
In addition to the live performances, the festival will also see the release of a new charity compilation album, ‘A New Music in a Different Kitten’.
The album, featuring contributions from the participating artists, can be ordered directly through the ticket site, with all profits being donated to BARKS.
The festival’s line-up includes Black Hats, Maisy’s Rainbow Dream, and Barrelhaus on Friday, and Concrete Fun House, Octavia Freud, and Mystery Biscuit on Saturday.
Sunday will see performances from Dilemma, The Atomic Prune, and The Faith Healers, among others.
Organisers are encouraging music lovers and the local community to support both grassroots live music and this charitable cause.
