On Wednesday, Nike unveiled the Caitlin 1s, the new signature shoe of Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.
One day later, Clark debuted them on the court:
“This is like your debut album, you want it to be killer,” Clark told ESPN’s Kareem Copeland about her first signature shoe on Wednesday. “… I wanted this to be something that looked different than something that’s on the shelves, but I also wanted it to be something that people are comfortable wearing. I got really crazy and expressive with the colors, and I think that kind of speaks to my love for inspiring the next generation and how they love to express themselves. A lot of it speaks to different parts of my life and different parts of my journey.”
Not to be outdone by her rival, Angel Reese also wore a new colorway of her own signature shoe with Reebok on Thursday night:
Clark, 24, is averaging 20.4 points and 8.3 assists this season.
