Police have charged a man after threats were made at a place of worship at Bald Hills yesterday, 10 May.
It will be alleged at 10:46am, a 33-year-old man attended a place of worship on Telegraph Road and made verbal threats.
No one was physically injured, and the man fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Following investigations, a 33-year-old Mitchelton man has since been charged with one count each of creating a public nuisance, disturbing a place of worship.
He is due to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on 22 May.
There is no ongoing threat to public safety. The Queensland Police Service (QPS) takes all instances of threats against cultural and religious communities with the utmost seriousness.
