Laura Woods is amongst the UK’s most recognisable and beloved sports presenters. On Saturday evening, she will front one of football’s most iconic occasions: the Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal.

Woods’ personal life appears to be flourishing as well, with the broadcaster revealing this week that she is expecting her second child. She started her career as a runner for Sky Sports before climbing the ranks to become a presenter. She departed the broadcaster in 2022.

Her career thrived at Sky, where she fronted coverage of various sports, including football and boxing. The 38-year-old joined TNT Sports in July 2023 and has also had stints with talkSPORT and ITV.

A two-time winner of the British Sports Journalism Awards Sports Presenter of the Year, Woods undoubtedly possesses the credentials to host the 2026 European Cup final. Here, Wales Online examines Woods’ net worth, TNT salary and her health scare when she collapsed on television.

What is Laura Woods’ net worth?

Woods’ switch from talkSPORT to TNT Sports has proved highly profitable. Her business holdings company, The Pig and I Limited, which was established in 2014, is believed to hold assets worth up to £1.5million.

The presenter’s wealth rose to this figure from £635,000 during the period between January and December 2024, according to a report in The Sun.

Arsenal have reached the UEFA Champions League final where they face Paris Saint-Germain on May 30. Fans can watch the game without a TNT Sports subscription by signing up to the HBO Max Basic With Ads plan via Prime Video’s HBO Max channel.

Her net worth is now estimated to be in the region of £2m. Despite those considerable earnings, Woods reportedly adopted a relatively cautious approach to withdrawing funds from her company, having received just £1,000 in dividends during the period. Nevertheless, she is said to have paid £300,000 in tax.

What is Laura Woods’ Champions League wage?

TNT has selected Woods as the figurehead of its Champions League coverage and her salary reflects that standing. Her net worth has been significantly boosted by her remarkable pay rise since taking the helm of TNT’s Champions League broadcasts.

The self-confessed Arsenal fanatic reportedly commands an impressive £800,000-per-year at the broadcaster. This represents a considerable step up from the reported £250,000 she earned annually at talkSPORT.

Why did Laura Woods collapse?

Woods had viewers holding their breath when, in December 2025, she fainted while presenting an England Lionesses friendly against Ghana. She was caught by pundits Ian Wright and Anita Asante before ITV quickly cut to adverts.

Katie Shanahan stepped in for Woods and confirmed she was “doing okay” at half-time of the match. Woods took to social media to reassure her followers she was fine and to apologise for causing concern.

She wrote: “Gosh that was a bit weird. Sorry to worry everyone, im ok, the wonderful paramedic at Saints have said its probably a virus, just need a bit of rest and rehydration.

“I’m really embarrassed that happened on tv, but a big thank you to my colleagues at ITV who have really looked after me tonight. And to Wrighty and Neets for catching me. And sorry again x.”

Wright subsequently updated followers on her wellbeing. “Yeah, she’s fine,” he disclosed when questioned about Woods on the Overlap. “I got a message from her this morning, she’s fine yeah. It was worrying last night…people were really nice.”

Woods has since made a full recovery. And she and her fiancé, Adam Collard, have now revealed they are expecting their second child together.

The couple already have son Leo, who was born in January last year. Their social media announcement was accompanied by a straightforward caption reading: “Hey, baby number 2.”
