Super Eagles of Nigeria face Jamaica in the 2026 Unity Cup final at The Valley tonight—the same ground where this tournament began back in 2004—with the chance to claim a fourth consecutive title and cap an extraordinary week of football in London, Soccernet.ng reports.

This is a rematch of last year’s final at the Brentford Community Stadium, where Nigeria twice led before Jamaica equalised on both occasions, forcing a penalty shootout that the Super Eagles edged 5–4. The Reggae Boyz arrive tonight with revenge firmly on their minds, and Kaheim Dixon—the Charlton Athletic forward who scored in last year’s final—plays at his home ground.

Eric Chelle has used this tournament to rebuild and experiment. Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman and Alex Iwobi were all rested, opening the door for fringe players and domestic-based talents to stake their claims. The biggest beneficiary has been Femi Azeez, the Millwall winger who scored twice on debut in Nigeria’s 2–0 semi-final victory over Zimbabwe on Tuesday and now enters the final as the tournament’s standout performer.

Jamaica reached tonight’s final with a convincing 2–0 win over India, with Dixon and Courtney Clarke providing the goals. Interim coach Rudolph Speid has assembled an energetic, youthful squad with pace in wide areas and a physical edge in midfield that will test Nigeria’s rhythm throughout.

Francis Uzoho is expected to replace Arthur Okonkwo in goal, while Azeez almost certainly keeps his place in attack after his semi-final brace. Rafiu Durosinmi is tipped to lead the line, with Philip Otele on the opposite flank.
