Recently, photos and videos of Claressa Shields at the 2026 Black Effect Podcast Festival in Atlanta, Georgia, began circulating online. Fans immediately locked in on the boxing champ rocking a purple jumpsuit with white platform heels. As Claressa’s look started going viral, a social media user named steelbizz used AI to put her and Monica in the same photo wearing white heels. Monica ended up peeping the photo and basically said put some RESPECK *word to Birdman* on her name. She slid straight into the comment section, writing, “Excuse me, sir,” alongside several laughing emojis. Meanwhile, Claressa hasn’t reacted to the image yet!

Meanwhile, folks had plenty to say about the AI photo of Monica and Claressa over in steelbizz’s comment section. Some social media users dropped laughing emojis, clearly catching the lil’ jokey joke, while others basically said, “not too much on Monica’s shoes now!”

Claressa Claps Back At Trolls Critiquing Her Outfit

Prior to the AI-edited photo of Claressa Shields and Monica, the boxer hopped on a livestream to clap back at critics reacting to her outfit and shoe choice. While cruising in a whip, Shields told folks that their comments on her style meaning nothing and she will always wear what she wants if she likes it.

“You commenting is not going to make me change my outfit. B***h, I wore it already.” She continued, “Clearly, I think the outfit is nice. I posted the pictures.” 

Then she addressed the people who think she doesn’t dress like someone with money. The boxer said she could shop every day, but even with that, she’s always going to stay true to herself.

“I could afford to buy whatever the hell I want to buy. I could go shopping every day of my life if I wanted to.” She added, “I don’t give a damn about what anybody likes. I never have and that’s why I stay true to me.
