JAMB Extends 2026 DE Registration Deadline to May 22

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has once again extended the registration deadline for the 2026 Direct Entry (DE) application process. The new deadline is set for May 22, 2026, providing prospective candidates with extra time to complete their applications.

This extension aims to support applicants who have faced delays in acquiring the necessary credentials and documents required for registration.

Earlier, JAMB had already pushed the deadline to May 8, along with the approval of additional accredited registration centres across the country. The latest extension further demonstrates JAMB’s commitment to ensuring all eligible candidates are included in the 2026 admission process.

Applicants are encouraged to take full advantage of this opportunity and avoid waiting until the last minute to submit their applications.

In preparation for the 2026 admission exercise, the Board is also gearing up for the upcoming admission policy meeting, scheduled for May 11, 2026.
