Oppo’s A6 lineup grows again with a new A6k variant

Another day, another Oppo A6 variant. At this point, it almost feels like Oppo is playing a game, but here we are. The company has quietly launched the Oppo A6k in China, packing a 7,000mAh battery and a Dimensity 6300 chipset.

The Oppo A6k sports a 6.75-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, and 1,125 nits of peak brightness. The phone carries an IP69 dust and water resistance rating.

The Dimensity 6300 SoC is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. You also get a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

At the back, the Oppo A6k offers a dual camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor with autofocus and a 2MP monochrome unit. For selfies, the phone features an 8MP camera.

The handset packs a 7,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. Other specs include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It runs ColorOS 15 out-of-the-box.

The Oppo A6k can be had in Dawn Gold, Twilight Blue, and Seashell White color options. It is currently available for purchase in China via Oppo’s official online store.





As for pricing, the 8GB/256GB option is priced at CNY 1,999 ($290), whereas the 8GB/512GB model carries a price tag of CNY 2,199 ($320). There’s also a 12GB/256GB variant, which costs CNY 2,399 ($350).
