EXCLUSIVE: UK agency YMU Group has promoted five agents in its entertainment division.

Meghan Peterson, Jordan Johnson, Lauren Clark, and Nader Dehdashti were upped to Executive Director. The promotions are billed framed as “a deliberate investment in the next generation of YMU leadership.”

The fifth appointment sees Claire Dundas has been promoted to Senior Executive Director, following more than 15 years in the division.

Peterson becomes Executive Director, Business and Operations; Johnson becomes Executive Director, Unscripted, Clark becomes Executive Director, Creators; and Nader Dehdashti becomes Executive Director, Growth and Innovation.

Further up the chain at YMU Entertainment, Melanie Rockcliffe continues in her role as Chair; and Paul Worsley and Darren Worsley stay as Chief Client Officer and Group Vice Chair respectively. YMU’s entertainment clients include the likes of Ant and Dec, Simon Cowell and Graham Norton.

Mary Bekhait, CEO of YMU Group and MD of the Entertainment division, said: “Meghan, Jordan, Lauren and Nader are exactly the leaders this division needs right now – commercially driven, creatively sharp and deeply committed to our clients and to each other. I am delighted to give them this platform.

Alongside Claire, Melanie, Paul and Darren, whose experience and standing in this industry is second to none, we have built something I am very proud of. This is a team that will take YMU Entertainment to a new level.”

The promotions come three months after YMU’s MD of global entertainment, Lucy Loveridge, announced her exit. She leaves this month after four years with the agency. Bekhait named herself interim MD in her stead.
