The New Orleans Saints are reportedly scheduled to host Ohio State star wide receiver and projected top-10 pick Carnell Tate for a Top-30 pre-draft visit later this week, according to NewOrleans.Football’s Nick Underhill.

Earlier in the pre-draft process, New Orleans hosted a dinner with Tate and several other Ohio State prospects.

The 21-year-old Chicago, Illinois native hauled in 51 receptions for 875 yards and nine touchdowns this past season for the Buckeyes, posting a 77.3% catch rate—the best among the top receivers in this class—despite running the deepest routes. Tate’s 90.3 overall grade ranked sixth among 679 qualifying wide receivers in 2025, while his 90.2 receiving grade also ranked sixth.

Tate stands at six-foot-two, 192 pounds with 31 3/4-inch arms and 10 1/4-inch hands, while he ran a 4.53-second 40-yard dash with a 1.61-second 10-yard split.

He would make an immediate impact for the Saints offense and provide another playmaker for franchise quarterback Tyler Shough. New Orleans has been doing its due diligence on the upcoming wide receiver class and could be looking to add one with the eighth overall pick.
